2026 Porsche Cayenne Trim Levels with Prices, Photos, & Specs

The Cayenne has been a game-changer for Porsche, the SUV that proved that you can have sports car-like performance in a practical daily driver, provided it’s made by Porsche. Today, there are several different versions of the Cayenne, as well as a choice of two different body styles. This being Porsche, all of them come with their own unique performance characteristics as well, so a good guide to the Cayenne trim level breakdown is necessary to make sense of it all.

V6 Cayenne Trims

Porsche Cayenne

A V6 engine comes standard in the Cayenne, an important thing to note when most of its competitors have downsized to 4-cylinder engines for base trims. So there is ample power, as well as the incredible handling prowess that sets the Cayenne apart from other SUVs that are quick in a straight line. There is a seemingly endless list of customization options as well, from the 28 different available wheel designs to an off-road package and the ability to choose the color of your seatbelts. Available adaptive air suspension gives you a superior ride, while the available rear axle steering improves the already impressive handling.

E-Hybrid Cayenne Trims

Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid

The Cayenne is one of only a couple of Porsche models available with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. These trims wear the E-Hybrid designation and come in three different versions. The Cayenne E-Hybrid and Cayenne S E-Hybrid both come with a 3.0-liter V6 mated to the hybrid drivetrain. And we should note that the extra power you see in the Cayenne S E-Hybrid comes from a more powerful gasoline engine, so that power is always on tap unless you’re in all-electric mode. The Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid uses the same plug-in hybrid components as the other two, so all three get the same 174-horsepower bump from the electric motor, but in this range-topping trim, the drivetrain is mated to a 4.0-liter V8, making it the most powerful Cayenne trim overall.

V8 Cayenne Trims

Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS

In addition to the standard V6 power, the Cayenne further sets itself apart by offering multiple trims with a V8 under the hood. The Cayenne S, Cayenne GTS, and Cayenne Turbo GT all come with a 4.0-liter V8 in different states of tune. While the Cayenne Turbo GT isn’t the most powerful trim of the Cayenne, the Coupe-only trim is lighter by several hundred pounds, and therefore boasts the quickest 0-60 time, as well as a slightly higher top track speed of 190 mph. For a V8 sports car feel in a vehicle with seating for four adults and lots of cargo space, there is no substitute for the Cayenne.
